Last Days

That was my first time facing farewell individually. I mean in school and university, some of us separated in the same time. In working life, you can't waiting your friend to quit from your job. I know it's kinda hard decision. However, the life must go on. I need to go to another episode of my life.

As I remember, the first time I got real surprise is when I was 20 years old, birthday surprise party, you can read here. In this office, when people have birthday, we celebrate together. It's kinda surprise. However, it wasn't really surprise me, because you know it's your birthday and the office mates will celebrate your day, it does regularly.

In my 2 years office life, we usually give surprise to the people who will resign by recording wishes video or give gift such as shirt, wallet, bag, watch, etc. I just shocked, in December 30th, when I was going to my cubicle, I saw creative craft birthday surprise hanging at my cubicle. I was speechless. I can say nothing. I guess, that was the most creative farewell surprise I've ever seen, personally. One of my friend said "we can't give you video because no one can create as great as you". Honestly, if you gave me video, the thing already in my mind. Nevertheless, the farewell surprise that you guys created was very mindblowing. That was super awesome. I think, all of you can see how sweet my close office mates are.

Some of them looked dissatisfied with my expression. They don't know that I still can't understand, how come all of you got that ideas. Brilliant. When I read all wishes, I tried to control myself. I will remember all of those wishes and hopefully the wishes from great friends will be the great one for me.

We had small farewell party in Jupiter meeting room. I wanna say thanks for people who take their time there even the party was going late. These are the pictures.

My last day was exactly at December 31st. We also had DSME End Year Party at that day. The day when the bosses explained what we've done and what we will do. The day when appreciation gives to deserved people. The day when we had lunch together, whole coworkers. I was happy contributing our short movie entitled by I AM as the 1st Runner Up. Moreover, my startup, Lumos Production also as the vendor to capture their happiness in photobooth stage. Even tough, some of unfair treatment from management side dissapointed me, I tried to look the other side, which is the happy side. There always been something we can gratitude for.

Thank god for these amazing two years. Please keep all good memories in our own mind. I wish the great wishes for my close friends who really nice and stunned my days :)

DSME End Year Party

Ya, kantor gue ngadain end year party ala-ala pas tanggal 31 Desember kemaren. Acaranya di hotel Gran Melia. Hotel samping kantor. Acaranya itu semacam ada presentasi dari bos bos besar terhadap apa yang udah kita achieve di tahun 2013 dan proyek apa yang akan kita jalankan di tahun 2014. Abis itu ada juga video competition dan award-award-an gitu. Macam the most leadership, best dress, most sociable, dll.

Gue dan beberapa temen gue anak Piping kan nge-submit videonya. Kalo lo pernah baca postingan gue yang ini pasti lo tau kalo gue lagi mau submit video untuk kompetisi akhir tahun ini. Sebelomnya gue dan beberapa crew langsung ngebayangin. "Eh eh nanti kita maju ke atas panggung trus ala-ala FFI gitu. Makasih buat Mama dan Papa yang lagi dirumah *sambil terharu*" hahaha ala-ala banget yah. Pokoknya imajinasi udah liar banget, udah mikir yang enggak-enggak. Kayak, wuih wuih nanti dipanggilin nih "Aktor pendatang baru end year competition DECI diberikan kepada......jeng jeng jeng jeng...... bismillahirrohmanirrohim..... satu dua tiga...... Arifal Dianes Febri dalam Film Share Your Passion produksi DSME Pictures" atau apalah itu hahaha

Film pendek yang disubmit diputer abis break time. Jadi diputerin deh tuh 3 film. Pertama film yang gue sama Dani bikin judulnya A Journey yang berceritakan tentang perjalanan kita ke krakatau. Kedua film buatan anak steel outfitting yang berjudul Celoteh Anak DECI dan yang ketiga Share Your Passion. Film yang kita shooting dulu di kantor dengan artisnya si Arifal dan 6 figuran lainnya.

Ternyata yang jadi Juri itu si Pa Sumardi, Pa Rommy sama Pa Mumu juga kalo gak salah. Pokoknya para part leader deh. Dan ketika pengumuman, itu deg-deg-an loh karena ada backsound yang bikin deg-deg-an gitu waktu di umumin. Dan yang diumumin pertama itu yang juara dua. Ternyata juara duanya si Celoteh Anak DECI. Gue juga bingung kenapa mereka nyebutinnya juara 2 nya dulu. Dan abis itu baru deh dikasih tau juara ketiga dan juara pertamanya. Share Your Passion jadi juara ketiga dan A Journey jadi juara pertama. Yeaaaay!!! Akhirnya menang.

Abis itu gue maju deh ke depan. Gue sebagai perwakilan dari juara ketiga. Abis itu Hudi mewakilin juara kedua dan Dani yang ngewakilin juara pertama. Juara Kedua yang ngasih hadiahnya Mba Hana. Curang banget, trus Hudi dikasih cipika-cipiki deh. Aturan yang juara 3 juga dong hahahahaha.

Yang Celoteh Anak DECI gue gak nemu di youtube. Jadi gak bisa dimasukin ke postingan ini deh. Abis pengumuman Video Competition dan dilanjutin sama award. Mulai dari award yang kita vote sampe award  dari HR macem siapa yang datengnya paling pagi. Trus orang-orang yang bertalenta macem adit, syarif, dkk. Lumayan banyak sih award yang dibacain saat itu. Abis itu kita makan dengan makanan yang menurut gue enak sih. Gue makan sampe super kenyang hahaha. Bener-bener begah.

Setelah makan, masuk ke hall nya lagi dan president DSME Indonesia bacain pidatonya. Sebelom itu dia nanya "Who is the director of 1st winner? I think you shall change your job". Gue sih speechless. Bahkan gak tau harus seneng atau sedih. Entah itu pujian karena filmnya bagus banget, apa sindiran halus biar gue resign hahaha

Abis pidato kelar, kita dibagiin slip bonus dan abis itu foto-foto deh. Yey, alhamdulillah tahun 2013 sudah berjalan. Gak berasa udah hampir setahun di kantor ini. Semoga ditahun depan gue jadi pribadi yang lebih produktif dan berkompetensi. Amiiiiin :)
