I am Happy Photographer

One of product in Lumos Production is event documentation. We often being hired as professional photographer or videographer by several companies. One of the last event is Seminar about Non-Communicable Diseases by Health Ministry.

Actually, there are a lot of event that we captured, but I just want to post this event due to client excitement. The event was held in Hotel Borobudur and there was also cultural night which has been held in Jimbaran Restaurant, Ancol.

I captured some pictures from seminar, outdoor activity and cultural night. One of the pleasure is getting conversation with doctors, nutritionists, scientist and other bright people. I didn't just take photography but I made a friend with them.

In the last day, suddenly the officer and many participant asked me for pictures. Actually, in working contract, I would not send files in d-day, I will have time to do post processing. However, they really wanted to see the pictures. I just distributed through their flash disks.

There was one participant who come to me after seeing the pictures. I just asked them "How's the pictures, ma'am? Do you have any constructive feedback?". She just said as written below

That's literally what she said. I didn't feel out of happy or something. I just being happy because I can do what I love. And when we do something from our heart, the good result will come. I wish there will be more happy customers which served by Lumos Production :)

Happy New Year 2014

Malam tahun baru pastinya orang-orang pada sibuk nyari acara kumpul-kumpul. Mau itu sama keluarganya, temennya, pacarnya, pokoknya harus ada acara aja. Harus kumpul. Trus main bakar-bakaran atau main kembang api, trus dimasukin Path deh biar nge-hitz.

Gue pribadi menutup tahun 2013 ini dengan menyenangkan pastinya. Karena gue sangat autis saat itu. Ya autis. Hanya kita bertiga. Eh berempat deh. Gue, tripod, kamera, dan firework. Hahahaha Malam tahun baru kemaren, gue dan beberapa anak Young On Top pada ke rumah Sasha untuk ngerayain acara tahun baruan. Tempatnya sih agak jauh. Eh lumayan jauh, apa super jauh ya? Pokoknya jauh deh. Di kelapa gading ujung lagi. Tapi makanannya enak banget. Ada sate kambing yang gak sekeras kambing biasanya. Empuk banget. Ada sate ayam. Ada cumi yang segede-gede alaihim sama ada juga ikan apalah namanya yang gue gak tau. Yang jelas makanannya enak-enak.

Ketika sudah mendekati jam 12 malem dan mata gue sudah mulai ngantuk. Temen-temen gue yang lainnya masih pada bersemangat untuk cerita horror. Sedangkan gue? Nyawa gue udah setengah-setengah. Padahal itu mau tahun baruan loh. Melihat beberapa keluarga sasha yang udah main petasan dan di luar juga udah ada petasan padahal belom jam 12 malem. Ya gue langsung memasang peralatan tempur yaitu kamera dan tripodnya.

Ketika lagi pada seru cerita horror

Gue sebegitu autisnya ketika ngeliat kembang api. Langsung gue keker dan jepret-jepretin. Beberapa anak-anak yang minta difotoin pas lagi pada megang kembang api, tapi gue tetep autis di belakang viewfinder kamera. Karena emang target gue tahun baruan ini harus dapet banyak fireworks yang bagus. Alhamdulillah rumahnya Sasha memfasilitasi banyak fireworks. Jadinya gue bisa ngejepret-jepret banyak deh. Walaupun sebenernya bentuk fireworksnya gak ada yang outstanding macem di website-website luar negeri dan pada jauh-jauh semua lokasinya, ya walhasil gue dapet beberapa foto yang yaaaa lumayan lah ya daripada lumanyun (jokes yang udah basi).

And here we go. I got some fireworks pictures that I print out as a postcard and send it to friends. Actually my office mates and YOT Alumni. I hope i can print out the postcard regularly once a month by my photograph as a cover. So I can share what I love and what I did to my colleague.

Hai Day 2013

This is the annual event of Hai Magazine. Hai Day "Celebrating Eco-Youth" was held at October 19-20th at Parkir Timur Senayan. This is my second time to go to this event. I mean, i also came for previous year. Just click here if you want to read what circumstances at that time.

Honestly, this year is not as fun as last year. However I went for two days in this year. For the first day, I watched Kahitna. I just feel so damn long not seeing that band. And their performance is too "nanggung". They just sang for 5 songs. And the emotion not climax at all. I mean, we already feeling the emotion than they closed their performance. There are many songs that they should sing at that time.

And then I enjoyed Payung Tedung in rainy night. I still sing along and really really really enjoyed their performance. Thank you for give us great performance. Then continue to Kunokini. I never heard their song actually. But I know that they play some kinda traditional instrument. I just wonder how cool they are. So, i watched them. And........ ya. They are pretty cool. I mean super awesome.  created super great first impression for me. At that time the audience just small amount of people. I can take their picture maybe one meter in front of them. And i also dance all night long, then they give me their CD as appreciation. Kunokini is super awesone. I addicted to see their performance again. These are photos of first day.

At second day, i just enjoy Maliq. Raisa, Boyz II Boys and Extra Large. But it just small part. Because the rundown so unorganized at second day. So it's hard for me to grab the time and going to in front of stage for taking a picture.

For second day, i watched talkshow with Mo Brothers for their upcoming movie "Killers". And also Mira Lesmana and Prisia Nasution for their upcoming movie "Sokola Rimba". I really excited waiting their movies being played at my favourite cinema.

Anyway I also took some toy photography in second day. I really really really love it. And here we go :)

Have a Great Weekend

Photography. That's one of things that I never bored to do. Last weekend, we did prewedding photoshoot. Ya, project of Lumos Production. We did it faster and i think better than previous one. Because, we prepared it more detail. We have imagined the picture that we would take. The sequence of photoshoot. The wardrobe. Ya, all of the detail. And we also use our newest stuff (reflector), to boumce sunlight to face of models. We really enjoy it. Anyway, Lumos has ine of new crew. Her name Tia. Nice to meet you Tia :)

After photoshoot, take a rest for a while in my home, then I went to Pandava Coffee, Epiwalk to gather with some of Young On Top Campus Ambassador. It has been long time we didn't catch up. Maybe more than 1 months (it not really long time, zar hahaha). Ya, i know. But, for catch up for that kind of people, i think it has been long time. Since I always get positive energy, interesting news and story from all of them.

In sunday, I just did DVD Marathon. From now you see me, insidious, before sunset, and the last one is american pie reunion. So various of genre. Finally i have my lazy time in home by just doing what i love such as watch some movies. I really love my life. Thank god :)

How Was Your Weekend?

How wa your weekend guys? Me? I spent my weekend in the fun thing. That was capturing kids happiness. Now, i am running our own business with my mate. Business in photography and videography industry. And this weekend we did our project. Still continue for post-production.

The thing that makes me happy is awesome photography. I mean, i took gorgeous and hilarious photograph. Just can't wait to show to all of you guys. I need your feedback for my improvisation. Thanks :)
