Fashion Photoshoot? How it would be?

If you wondering how the circumstance of fashion photoshoot is, you should read this article. Two weeks ago, after recovery from my 3-weeks-bedrest, my KPJ mate (coky) texted me asking for the lens. He told me that he would do photoshoot for his portfolio. I proposed myself to be behind-the-scene-photographer-and-videographer in that fashion photoshoot.

I was excited to do this kind of job because I didn't do anything for 3 weeks and it was so bored. I also wanted to try my new toy, Nikon D750 for producing the video. We did photoshoot for 6 hours. That was so much fun and I got much knowledge indirectly from my two mates (Coky and David) regarding studio lighting and fashion photography.

The are two of final result of this photoshoot which captured by Coky.

Oh ya, I remember. One of the pleasures of joining this photoshoot is getting proper and studio-quality-pictures. These are some picture of us which are so cool for me, personally haha.

Brazilian Model Photoshoot

It started by my friend's chat (Teh Maya). She is make up artist. We have worked together in project for pilot promotion. In short, Teh Maya asked me to do proper model photoshoot. I just excited. Because I never do that before and I really wanted to get that experience. Teh Maya connected me with Wita. She is fashion stylist. We had meeting, decided what we want and prepared for photoshoot.

We just had meeting once, then we communicated through WhatsApp group. Wita gave us option about model. Then we dealt with Geovana. Teh Maya also asked Cecilia as hair stylist. I asked Yudha as lighting assistant.

We did photoshoot in BSD, Wita's home. I brought Lumos's lighting studio and background. We did photoshoot from 12pm until 6 pm. It was long but I was glad getting new portfolio.

Fashion Photography Workshop

Is there one of you interested in fashion photography? If yes, you’ve missed the useful event like this event which was held by Kelas Pagi and Mind Talk. I know this information from my mate. I need to say thank to her because the event got me much knowledge and information. This event was held in Third Eye Space. I love the studio, big and artsy. And when it was started, Advan Matthew as speaker explained what fashion photography is, shared his experiences and gave us some tips. And he is the humble photographer. I hope, I can meet him at the other chance and show my great portfolio in fashion photography. I think, it would be better if I share the pictures then.

Actually, there was photo competition of street fashion photography. So, there were 5 models and we need to capture their style. But, I failed at that competition hahaha. Never mind, overall I really enjoyed that workshop. I wish I can join the next class from Kelas Pagi Jakarta.
